O’ WHAT A DAY THAT WILL BE

O’ What a day, what a day that will be,
When Jesus, my Saviour sets me free.
When I finally look upon His face
Somewhere between time and space

O’ what a day, what a day shall enfold
When laughter surrounds me on streets of gold
Voices sing loudly in joyful praise
To Christ who died and rose from the grave

O’ what a day when the lamb who was slain
Shall welcome His Saints who believe in His Name
Praise Him, Praise Him, the multitude resounds
Peace on earth, good will towards men will abound.

O’ what a day when I look on His face
Who gave of His life and took my place
Who saved me from the day of wrath
Forgiving, forgetting the sins of my past

O’ what a day, what a day that will be
When Jesus my Saviour sets me free
From these earthly bonds that fetter and bind
Keeping me always lagging behind

O’ What a day, what a day that will be
When Jesus my Savior sets me free!  
